The Burnaby Mountain Preservation Society is delighted to announce that on June 22, 2025, our member, Ernest Harrop, will be presenting his slide show, “The Joy of Discovery: Finding Mushrooms on Burnaby Mountain”, at our Social event. Details below.

Date: Sunday, June 22, 2025

Time: 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
(slide show will be approximately 45 minutes followed by socializing)

Place: Pine Ridge Housing Co-Op Common Room, #89-8763 Ash Grove Crescent, Burnaby

Who: the Social is for Members & Friends of the Burnaby Mountain Preservation Society,

Food: Drinks and appetizers type food will be provided

Cost: Free (a donation bowl will be available should you wish to donate)

By bus eastbound from Brentwood: the 136 bus. Get off the 136 bus at bus stop #52846 (Eastbound Forest Grove Drive at Maple Grove Crescent West)

By bus westbound from Production Way/University sky train station: the 136 bus. Get off the 136 bus at bus stop #52875 (Westbound Forest Grove Drive at Ash Grove Crescent).

From either bus stop, walk up Ash Grove past the Mountainside parking lot. Pine Ridge Housing Co-Op will be on your left (5 minute walk from the bus stops).
